HVDC offshore platform DolWin 2, UAE and Norway
HVDC DolWin2 is a high voltage direct current (HVDC) link to transmit offshore wind power to the power grid of the German mainland. The project differs from most HVDC systems in that one of the two converter stations is built on a platform in the sea. Voltage-Sourced Converters with DC ratings of 900 MW, ±320 kV are used and the total cable length is 135 km. The project is similar to the HVDC DolWin1 project but has a slightly higher power rating and uses a different design of offshore platform. The platform was designed by Norwegian company Aibel and built by Drydocks World in Dubai and transported to Europe in the summer of 2014 to be fitted out at the Aibel yard in Haugesund in Norway.
Scope: Supervising and commissioning of the AC/DC and protection systems in the offshore platform. Communication with the designers and problem solving on site.

Scope: Commissioning and configuration services for RTU and Microscada.
Nybro 400 kV Substation, Sweden
Scope: Test and commissioning of auxiliary supply system (AC, DC), circuit test and function test of the entire protection & control system, circuit test and function test of all switchgear equipment (CT, VT, CB, Earthing switches, junction boxes, cables), primary/secondary test of CT’s and VT’s (Ratio, magnetization curve, burden etc), participation at SAT and Energize.
400 kV Barkekyrd, Sweden
Scope: This project was standardization project of Altom relays for Svenska Kraftnat. Our engineer recreated all logic in Alstom configurations, did new configuration files which we accepted by Svenska Kraftnat as template for feature Alstom relays configurations. All configurations involve IEC61850 protocol. Later he participated in SAT activities of this substation.
ATCO HVDC project, Germany
Scope: Configuration were done by Siemens our engineer did FAT works and marked remarks about faults which he found on configuration for Siemens – 7SA6xx, 7UT6xx, 7SJ6xx, 7SSxx, 7SDxx, 7VE6xx, GE – distance and differential protections, SEL – distance and differential protections, Trench protection relays.
